Voilà le portrait de ma nièce Camille, artiste, écrivain, passionnée par la peinture et tous les arts. Elle est également la traductrice de l'ouvrage, travail effectué avec une rigueur exceptionnelle. 
Camille utilise souvent les feuilles d'or dans ses tableaux.
Elle a également écrit une thèse en anglais sur l'influence de la littérature irlandaise sur la culture australienne, bref un travail haut de gamme!!!

I was born in France and currently live in Melbourne, Australia. I paint, sculpt, draw, glue, sing, play the flute, gild, write and occasionally hammer as frames unfortunately do not build themselves. It is not that I touch to everything, it is that everything touches me, to paraphrase the geniously versatile French artist Jean Cocteau.

I have a colourful vision of the world as is reflected in the small amount of interior design I have had the opportunity to complete in the previous few years. If everything is grey and square outside, then there are all the more reasons to generate colours and curves inside.

In painting, I use the ever-changing aspects and colours of metal leaves in sunlight to capture and convey movement into my artworks. I also play with texture, incorporating sand, cardboard, newpapers or fabric to my work to build depth and differentiate layers.
